The built-in light makes it so easy to get even illumination without having to fuss with extra gear, and the whole setup feels solid enough for daily use. I've been able to shoot much sharper product photos now that everything stays locked in alignment.

The column locks down tight with no wobble, and the built-in light makes it easy to avoid shadows on flat artwork. I've been able to copy old family photos with consistent results.
