Mixed a batch last night and the powder dissolved completely clear in just a few minutes with no residue. My first roll of Tri-X came out with beautiful, fine grain and rich shadow detail that I haven't seen with other developers.

Finally got around to mixing up a gallon of this and the granules dissolved faster than I expected with no residue left behind. My test rolls of Tri-X came out with perfectly crisp negatives and nice shadow detail. It's the standard for a reason.

I’ve been using this for my medium-format rolls, and the fine grain it delivers is exactly what I was hoping for. The one-gallon powder mix was easier to prepare than I expected, with no clumps or residue left behind.
