Promaster 5172 Scout SC426K Tripod

The twist-lock legs on this tripod are so quick to extend, I can go from packed to shooting in under a minute. It feels rock-solid even with my heavy telephoto lens attached.

The head clicks into place with a reassuring solidity, and even on a breezy day at the marsh, my shots stayed tack sharp. Setting it up took under a minute right out of the box, which is exactly what I need when the light’s shifting fast.

I’ve been using this tripod for outdoor shoots and the twist-lock legs are surprisingly quick to set up even with gloves on. The included head holds my camera steady during longer exposures.
