Promaster 6742 Reverse Ring - 58mm Sony

The threads are machined cleanly, so my 58mm lens screws on and off without any wobble or binding. Took a few tries to get the focus right, but once I did, the macro shots came out sharper than anything I've managed with a diopter. Great value for getting into close-up work.

I've been using this ring to get extreme close-ups of coins and watch movements, and it holds the lens securely without any wobble. The 58mm thread fit my kit lens perfectly with no noticeable play. Only wish it came with some kind of protective cap for storage.

It does what it's supposed to—58mm threads match my lens perfectly and the build is solid metal—but the ring is quite thin, so it's a bit fiddly to screw on with gloves on. Works fine for occasional macro shots, just don't expect it to feel premium.
