Promaster 8187 48in. Octagonal Softbox

I’ve been using this softbox for a few weeks now, and it really does cut down on harsh shadows like the description says. The 48-inch size is perfect for full-length portraits, and the setup was surprisingly simple. Definitely a solid upgrade for my home studio.

The octagonal shape is a huge bonus—the catchlights in my portraits look so much more natural compared to a square box. Even with a single speedlight, the light is beautifully diffused and soft on skin.

The setup was easy thanks to the clearly marked speed ring, and the eight-sided design gives a really nice, even catchlight in portraits. I've been using it for headshots and the shadows are definitely softer compared to my old square box.
