Promaster 9258 36" Convertible Professional Umbrella

I needed a convertible umbrella that wouldn’t wobble in a studio breeze, and this one’s solid core frame construction locks in place perfectly.

The frame on this one is solid core construction, so it doesn’t wobble or twist in the stand even when I tilt it for off-camera shots. I’ve had cheaper umbrellas that felt flimsy, but this 36-inch size is just right for portraits without blowing out the room.

Finally, an umbrella that feels sturdy enough for serious use—the solid core frame handled a windy outdoor shoot without collapsing. Even the ribs feel reinforced, which gives me confidence it’ll last for years.
