Put this on my 90mm and the pair is tack sharp even wide open. The extra reach is exactly what I needed for landscape detail, and the build feels solid without adding much weight.

My 50mm f/2 lens retains its sharpness and contrast even with this 2x converter attached, which is far better than I expected from an extender. The locking mechanism clicks solidly into place, giving me confidence it won’t wobble during a shoot.

The build quality feels reassuringly solid, and my images retain impressive detail even with the extra reach. It attaches smoothly to the lens mount without any noticeable play. A worthwhile addition for when I need to get closer to the action.
