The knurled brass finish is a nice touch—it gives you a solid grip even when your fingers are greasy from tightening other gear. Threaded it onto my light stand and the 3/8" male end seated perfectly with no cross-threading. This little thing feels more durable than the plastic adapters I've burned

That knurled finish is a lifesaver—I can finally swap my mic between mounts without needing pliers. The brass feels solid and the threads catch cleanly every time. Worth the few bucks for sure.

The knurled finish really helps grip it when tightening, which is nice for such a tiny part. Worked perfectly to mount my microphone shockmount onto a different stand. A solid little piece of brass for the price.
