Tiffen Glimmerglass Filter (77mm, Grade 1)

The glow it gives to highlights is subtle but noticeable right away—portraits just look softer and more flattering without any editing. It also handles blemishes nicely, which saves me time in post. Glad I went with grade 1, it's perfect for everyday shooting.

Finally a filter that smooths skin without making the whole image look soft or hazy. The way it handles highlights is surprisingly subtle, giving just a bit of sparkle to catchlights without washing anything out. It’s become my go-to for portrait work.

I love how the Glimmerglass creates that dreamy sparkle in backlit portraits, it makes skin look soft and natural without feeling overprocessed. Even in harsh sunlight, the glowing highlights add a nice cinematic feel to my shots.
