The rubber on the focus ring being missing was not a dealbreaker for me since I only needed the rear cap and metal barrel for a DIY project. actual lens glass is surprisingly clear despite the heavy haze noted in the listing, which means I can still use it for soft-focus portrait work.

I knew going in this was a parts lens, so the missing rubber on the focus ring was no surprise—still nice to have the rear cap included. There’s heavy haze, but for the price I paid, it’s perfect for practicing manual focus on my F-mount body.

I've been shooting with this lens for a few days and the manual focus ring has a nice, solid feel despite the rubber being missing. The haze is there, but after some testing I’m still getting sharp enough images for my projects. It’s a solid bargain for the price if you’re okay with a bit of foggine
