Got it as a used body with the 18-55mm VR lens, and the shutter count was surprisingly low for the price. The VR really does steady my handheld shots at 1/15s, which I didn't expect from a kit lens. Solid first DSLR if you don't mind a few minor scuffs on the body.

The autofocus on this used kit locks onto subjects faster than my old setup, and the 18-55mm VR lens handles nicely for handheld shots. Even the body itself looks nearly new, with just a few minor scuffs on the grip. Really happy grabbing this at the price point.

The shutter count on this used body is surprisingly low for the price, and the guide mode makes it dead simple to learn manual settings. I've been getting sharp shots even in dim light with the kit lens stopped down a bit.
