Portraits come out incredibly sharp even wide open, and the bokeh is beautifully smooth without being distracting. I love how compact and lightweight it feels for an f/1.8 lens, making it easy to carry around all day.

Picked this up used and it arrived in better shape than I expected—glass is spotless, and the aperture ring turns with that satisfying damped click. The shallow depth of field at f/1.8 is exactly what I wanted for portraits on my Z body.

The bokeh on this 85mm is gorgeous—creamy and smooth, exactly what I wanted for portraits on my Z camera. It's surprisingly compact for an f/1.8, and the autofocus locks on reliably even in low light. I'm thrilled with it.
