Picked this up as a black OM-2S body for a project, and the metal chassis feels incredibly solid even as a parts unit. The viewfinder shows some dust, but the prism is clear enough to judge framing for testing other lenses. Excited to try getting the shutter mechanism working again.

The shutter sound on this used OM-2S is crisp even though it's a parts unit—I bought it hoping to salvage the viewfinder, and the black finish shows almost no brassing. It arrived exactly as described, dusty but intact, and the program mode dial still clicks into place with a satisfying stop.

The black body is really nice looking, even with a few scuffs from its previous life. I was able to scavenge the advance lever and a couple of screws for my own OM-2, so it was worth the low price.
