The constant f/4 aperture held up perfectly across the whole zoom range during a cloudy hike — no fiddling with exposure settings. Glass is spotless, focus ring turns smooth, and the wide-angle distortion is pleasantly manageable for an APS-C lens.

Was pleasantly surprised at the condition of this used lens – the constant f/4 aperture across the whole zoom range is exactly what I needed for indoor shots. Focus ring turns smoothly and it feels solid on my camera body.

Waited a while to find a used copy of this wide-angle zoom in decent shape—the constant f/4 really helps when shooting indoors without a flash. Distortion is well controlled for an ultra-wide, and the build feels solid even with some wear on the barrel.
