Picked this up for a bargain, and honestly the wide-angle range on Canon EF mount has been perfect for outdoor shots—the manual focus ring has a nice, solid feel to it. It's clearly used, but the glass is clean and it does exactly what I need for architecture photos.

For the price of a used lens, this 19-35mm covers the wide end nicely—the manual focus ring turns smoothly, and the glass is surprisingly clear for a budget zoom. Shots of a downtown skyline came out sharp from edge to edge.
