Tiffen Glimmerglass Filter (72mm, Grade 1)

I was nervous this filter would wash everything out, but the ColorCore coating keeps my portraits crisp while the glow softens blemishes just enough. The sparkle it adds to catchlights in my subjects' eyes is exactly the confidence boost I was hoping for in my shoots.

The softening effect on my friend’s portrait was subtle but clearly made blemishes less noticeable, while still keeping the sharpness where needed. It’s a great tool for getting that polished look straight out of camera.

The sparkle effect on skin is genuinely subtle and flattering—it softened a few fine lines without looking fake. Works exactly as expected for portrait shots, and I’ve noticed a nice, soft glow in highlights right out of the box.
