Gebrauchtes Soligor 35-140mm F3.8-5.3 C/D Zoom+Makro C/Y Mount (Yashica Mount)

The zoom range from 35mm to 140mm is surprisingly smooth, and the macro feature let me get sharp close-ups of a coin without any adapter. The glass was clean, with just minor wear on the barrel that doesn't affect images.

Shot some test rolls this weekend and the macro function on this lens is surprisingly sharp—close-ups of flowers came out with nice detail. The 35-140mm range covered everything from street shots to portraits without swapping glass. Well worth the used price for a solid all-purpose walkaround.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a used zoom, but the macro capability at the long end gives surprisingly sharp close-ups. The 35-140mm range covers everything I need for walkaround shooting, though the aperture gets a bit slow past 100mm.
