Olivia A. ★★★★★

Got it right out of the box and the autofocus is snappy even in low light. The vibration reduction makes handheld shots at 300mm actually usable, which is a huge win for a lens this old.

Evelyn ★★★★★

Picked this up used for wildlife shots and the VR really helps steady those shaky zoomed-in frames. Sharp enough wide open at 300mm for distant birds, and the autofocus is snappy.

Samuel S. ★★★★★

I’ve been using this used Nikon 70-300mm for landscape shots, and the VR really helps keep things sharp handheld at the longer end. The autofocus is quick enough for catching birds in flight, though I did notice a tiny bit of hesitation in low light. Overall, it’s a solid telephoto for the price.
