I was a bit nervous buying a used lens, but this one arrived in great shape – the aperture ring clicks perfectly and the glass is clean. It’s sharp even wide open at f/1.4, which is exactly what I wanted for low‑light street shots.

The M39 mount fits my old rangefinder perfectly, and the f/1.4 aperture makes low-light shooting feel effortless. Even though it's used, the focus ring turns buttery smooth and the glass is remarkably clean for its age.

Sharp as a tack even wide open at f/1.4, and the old-school all-metal focus ring turns with just the right amount of resistance. I've been shooting a few rolls with it on my IIIf and the contrast and character are exactly what I was hoping for from a classic Nikkor. A bit of dust inside but nothing
