Manfrotto befree MKBFRTA4BK-BH

Even used, this tripod felt sturdy right out of the bag; the twist locks are smooth and secure. I was able to set it up quickly for a long exposure shot in a small space, and it held my camera perfectly steady.

The quick-release plate clicks in with a satisfyingly solid feel, and the legs are surprisingly stable for a lightweight travel tripod. It folds down compact enough to fit in my daypack, making it ideal for hikes where I don't want to lug heavy gear.

Even though it's used, the twist locks are still smooth and click firmly into place, which was my main worry. Setup takes maybe 30 seconds, and it feels sturdy enough for my mirrorless camera on a hike. Perfect size for tossing in a backpack without a second thought.
