Promaster 8924 EW83H Hood for Canon

Finally had to replace the flimsy one I was using, and this EW83H fits like it was made for my lens—no wobble at all. The bayonet clicks in with a satisfying snap, and it’s blocked flare on every sunny shot so far.

The bayonet mount feels snug and precise, so the hood doesn’t wobble at all when I’m shooting. It’s cut exactly for the EW83H fit, and I’m glad the flare protection is doing its job on sunny days.

The lock mechanism clicks into place so securely there's zero wobble, even after a day of hiking with the camera swinging. This replacement fits my Canon lens like a glove and effectively blocks stray light in bright sun.
