Julian ★★★★★

The Takumar lens is incredibly sharp for its age, and the mechanical shutter is a joy to use. This combo captures that classic film look without any fuss.

Jason J. ★★★★★

I've been shooting with this SP 1000 for a week now and the all-metal build feels incredibly solid compared to modern plastic cameras. The Takumar lens is tack sharp even wide open, and the manual controls make every shot intentional. It's a steal for the price.

Brian A. ★★★★★

The 55mm f/2 Takumar lens renders beautifully sharp images with a gentle vintage character, and I love the solid metal build of this manual SLR. It took a few rolls to nail the exposure without a meter, but the learning curve is part of the fun.
