중고 Canon 50mm f3.5 Serenar (읽어보기)

I was prepared for a total paperweight, but the glass is actually in decent shape—just needs a new aperture assembly. For the price of a coffee run, it’s a fun tinkering project if you enjoy lens repair.

Shooting wide open at f3.5 gives that lovely soft glow I wanted for portraits, and the all-metal construction feels solid even if the glass shows its age. It’s a gamble buying a lens marked “for parts,” but the aperture ring clicks perfectly and I’ve already gotten some dreamy shots with it.

Honestly, I bought this knowing it was a parts unit, so I was just hoping for a working aperture ring. Got it for a steal, and the glass is surprisingly clean for something listed as “read” — it’s actually sharp wide open on my digital body, which I did not expect at all.
