Customer Reviews (4.8 / 5 · 5 reviews)

Leo ★★★★★

Bought this strictly for the CF card slot and rear LCD, and both work exactly as described. The body has some wear, but the shutter button still clicks with that satisfying 40D heft when I test it.

Henry L. ★★★★★

The shutter mechanism still fires consistently, and the sensor is clean despite this being sold strictly for parts—perfect for practicing repairs or harvesting a working IR conversion body.

Eli ★★★★★

I needed a replacement shutter button assembly for a repair project, and the 40D's mirror box and sensor assembly were exactly what I hoped for in salvageable condition. The camera body itself shows honest wear but the CF card slot mechanism clicks in firmly, which is a good sign for parts harvestin
