Promaster 70323 46mm Protection Filter - Basis

Had to swap lenses on a dusty trail yesterday and this 46mm filter kept the front element completely clean without adding any noticeable vignetting. The glass feels solid and the slim profile means it doesn't interfere with my lens hood at all.

The threads are machined smooth and it screws on without any resistance, which is exactly what I wanted for a daily lens cap substitute. My glass stays dust-free and I don't even notice it's there during shoots.

I was worried the 46mm thread might not fit my lens, but it screwed on perfectly smooth without any wobble. The glass is crystal clear, didn’t notice any color shift in my photos. Feels sturdy enough to handle a bit of dust and a light bump.
