The black backing really does cut down on light spill—I noticed a much cleaner, more directional spread than with my old translucent umbrella. Skin tones come out soft and even with no weird color shift from the white interior.

Took a few shots with this umbrella and the black exterior really does the job—no stray light bouncing around the room. The white interior gives a soft, even spread that made my portraits look noticeably cleaner, and the 40" size covers a decent group without being a hassle to set up.

The white interior gives a clean, consistent light tone that makes skin look natural without any weird color shifts. I clipped this to my light stand and the 40" size is perfect for a two-person portrait setup.
