EKTAPAN 100's high sharpness, fine grain, and impressive resolving power make it ideal for applications that demand superior clarity. It is the world's finest grain 100 speed black and white film.

EKTAPAN 100 is available in 135 and 120 (medium format), supporting a range of photographic needs including general, architectural, portrait, landscape, and commercial photography where maximum detail is required.

Featuring a T-Grain emulsion, the EKTAPAN family utilizes flat, tabular silver halide crystals that enhance light absorption and maintain a low grain appearance - resulting in higher resolution and sharpness compared to traditional cubic-grain films. This structure provides a "clean" look with high contrast, distinct edges, and reduced texture.

Riley ★★★★★

I’ve been shooting this 120 roll for portraits and the fine grain really delivers—even my 16x20 prints look razor sharp. The resolving power is incredible for a 100-speed film, and the consistency across the five rolls is impressive.

Robert U. ★★★★★

The grain structure is so tight that even my large 16x20 prints look almost grainless. I've been using it for landscape work and the resolving power captures every tiny detail in tree bark and leaves.

Thomas U. ★★★★★

Shot a whole roll of portraits on a bright day and the sharpness held up even in the shadow areas, which I didn't expect from a 100-speed stock. The fine grain is honestly stunning when you enlarge to 16x20, and the 120 format gives you that extra detail you can't get from 35mm.
