EKTAPAN P3200 is a multi-speed film designed to be pushed to ISO 3200 or more while delivering consistent high-quality results.

It is particularly effective for capturing

  • Fast moving subjects
  • Nighttime and low light environments where flash use is not possible
  • Scenarios requiring both substantial depth of field and high shutter speeds, hand-held telephoto work in either rapid action or dim conditions.

Available in 135 format.

The EKTAPAN family's wide latitude allows for push and pull processing with good results. Its ability to handle a high degree of enlargement ensures that even the most intricate details are preserved.

Featuring a T-Grain emulsion, the EKTAPAN family utilizes flat, tabular silver halide crystals that enhance light absorption and maintain a low grain appearance - resulting in higher resolution and sharpness compared to traditional cubic-grain films. This structure provides a "clean" look with high contrast, distinct edges, and reduced texture.

Carter ★★★★★

I shoot a lot of indoor sports under crummy gym lights, and this film captured the fast-moving players without turning everything into a blur. The pushability to 3200 was exactly what I needed for those dim court corners, and the grain was surprisingly manageable even at the high speed.

Daniel ★★★★★

Pushed this to 3200 for a dimly-lit indoor event and the grain stayed surprisingly tight. The 36 exposures gave me plenty of frames to work with, and the contrast handled the mixed lighting beautifully.

Penelope ★★★★★

Shot a whole roll at a concert last week and pushed it to 3200 without a hint of muddy grain—the fast-moving guitarists came out crisp even in near-darkness. Thirty-six exposures gave me plenty of frames to experiment with the multi-speed range, and the negatives scanned beautifully.
