Took it out for a shoot on my Df and the difference in shutter press is immediate—way less jitter when I'm doing slow handheld shots. Screws on snugly but doesn’t mar the button, and it’s small enough to leave on permanently.

Screwing this into my Df's shutter button took all of ten seconds, and the difference in how the release feels is immediately noticeable. That soft, vibration-free press makes handheld shots at slow speeds noticeably steadier.

Eli T. ★★★★☆ Oct 21, 2026

The threaded fit is precise, so it locks into the shutter release socket without any wobble. It's a small thing, but the smoother press really does cut down on camera shake for slower handheld shots. Takes a second to get used to the added height, though.
