I’ve been using this eyepiece with my D2x in light rain and it keeps the viewfinder crystal clear. The Hydrophobia coating really works—no fogging or droplets inside. It’s a small upgrade that makes a big difference when shooting in wet conditions.

This eyepiece was a breeze to screw onto my D2x, and the Hydrophobia coating gives me real peace of mind when shooting in damp conditions. It feels like a solid, well-thought-out accessory that won’t let moisture sneak in. Just what I needed for those rainy outdoor shoots.

The Hydrophobia coating really does its job—rain beads right off the eyepiece and my view stays crystal clear even in a downpour. The screw-in mount fits my Nikon D2x perfectly with the EP-NSI adapter, and it’s solidly built. Honestly, for anyone shooting in bad weather, this is a no-brainer.
