I’ve been shooting this stuff for years, and the 36 exposures per roll give me plenty of frames to work with without changing rolls too often. The medium contrast is perfect for my street photography—grainy but sharp, just how I like it.

That wide exposure latitude really saved me on a roll where I forgot to adjust for a bright window—pulled the shadows back with zero hassle. Tri-X’s medium contrast is perfect for street scenes, and the 36-exposure rolls mean I actually think before I fire off a shot.

The grain structure in these negatives is gorgeous—exactly the classic look I was hoping for. I underexposed a few frames by a stop and still pulled plenty of detail from the shadows. This pack is now my go-to for street photography.
