The hex nut in the middle is the real winner here—my fingers were cramping trying to thread adapters with pliers, but this one went on in seconds flat. Worked perfectly to bridge my tripod head and a new quick-release plate, no wobble at all once tightened down.

The brass construction feels solid and the threads are perfectly cut, so attaching it to my light stand was smooth with no wobble. It's a simple piece that does exactly what it should for converting my 3/8" female port to a 1/4" male.

The 16mm hex nut in the center made swapping between my light stands effortless with just a standard wrench. Fits snugly and doesn't wobble at all, even under a heavy flash head.
