Promaster 7969 5" Cold Shoe Mount

Finally rid my rig of that awkward top-mounted mic setup. This little arm screws right into the tripod mount and gives you a solid, clean cold shoe off to the side for your microphone.

This little arm uses the camera's tripod thread securely and keeps my shotgun mic perfectly clear of the lens. The shoe is snug and holds the accessory firmly without any wobble.

I was worried my microphone would block the camera buttons, but this mount shifts it just far enough to the side. Feels solid in the tripod port with no wobble at all.
