Hannah ★★★★★

The viewfinder on this used Minolta XD5 is surprisingly bright, and the 50mm f1.7 lens is tack sharp even wide open. I shot a whole roll in about 20 minutes, perfectly metered all the way through.

Evelyn ★★★★★

I’d been looking for a reliable manual-focus SLR, and the XD5’s build with that 50mm f1.7 lens feels solid—no rattles, smooth film advance, everything works great. The shutter release is satisfyingly crisp, and the meter seems accurate after a test roll. Very happy with this purchase.

Ava ★★★★★

Shot a roll of Portra through it the weekend I got it, and the metering was spot-on in every frame—even the backlit shots. The 50mm f1.7 is tack sharp wide open, too. For a used body, everything feels tight and ready to go.
