Customer Reviews (4.8 / 5 · 5 reviews)

Sebastian ★★★★★

I've been using this lens for birding and the autofocus is snappy enough to catch them in flight. The zoom ring is buttery smooth even after years of use, which surprised me for a used lens.

Christopher ★★★★★

The zoom ring is a bit stiff, but that's expected for a used lens. The VR stabilization really helps at 300mm, and I'm getting sharp wildlife shots I couldn't have handheld before.

Natalie L. ★★★★★

Bought this for shooting soccer games on my DX body, and the 55-300 range on that little sensor is perfect for sidelines. The VR really does its job—I got sharp shots at 300mm handheld in late afternoon light.
