FUJIFILM XF 400mm f/4.5 R LM OIS WR Lens

The 400mm super-telephoto prime provides a 609mm-equivalent focal length and is intended for distant wildlife and sporting action. Its reach is suited to unpredictable action on sidelines, in open landscapes, and in the field. The lens weighs 1245g (2.74lb) and measures 23.95cm (9.4-inch) long, supporting less tiring handheld use. A high-speed linear autofocus motor provides fast, quiet, precise performance, while focus presets help reduce reaction time. Optical Image Stabilization provides up to 5.5 stops of stabilization to reduce camera shake. The optical design uses four ED and two Super ED elements to control aberrations while preserving sharpness and contrast. Super EBC lens coatings control ghosting and flare. Weather-resistant construction supports use in wet, dusty, or cold conditions when paired with a weather-resistant Fujifilm X Series camera body. The lens is compatible with FUJINON XF1.4X TC WR and XF2X TC WR teleconverters, extending coverage to 560mm or 800mm respectively. The maximum F4.5 aperture provides depth-of-field control and soft background blur. The rounded nine-blade diaphragm is designed to produce soft bokeh enhanced by super-telephoto compression. Compatible 1.4x and 2x teleconverters are sold separately.
