Canon EW-83E Lens Hood

Snapped it onto my 16-35mm and the fit is perfect, no wobble at all. It blocks stray light noticeably better than the cheap knockoff I had before, and the bayonet mount clicks in solidly every time.

The petal shape is actually pretty compact for a wide-angle hood, so it doesn’t add much bulk to my bag. It snaps on with a reassuring firmness and I don’t worry about it popping off during shoots.

The bayonet mount clicks on solidly with zero wobble, which matters when I'm swapping lenses in a hurry. It's saved my 16-35mm from flare on some harsh backlit shots, and the petals block just the right amount of stray light without vignetting at 16mm.
