Snaps on tight with a satisfying click, and I love that it still lets me use my circular polarizer filter without any vignetting. It feels solid and does its job flawlessly.

The hood doesn't block my wide-angle view at all, fitting perfectly on the EF-S 18-55mm kit lens. It's lightweight but feels sturdy enough for daily use, and snaps into place with a satisfying click. Definitely solved the ghosting I was getting in backlit shots.

The bayonet mount clicks on securely, cutting out stray light immediately. Build feels sturdy for the price, haven't noticed any vignetting on my wide lens.
