Nikon HB-117 Lens Hood

Snapped it on before a rainy hike and the glare protection on those bright sky shots is exactly what I needed. The flower shape hugs the lens nicely and it feels solid without adding much weight to the camera bag.

The flower-shaped design actually locks on tight, and it’s cut down glare on my 24-70mm shots noticeably when shooting into the sun. It feels solid for the price, and it’s been a quiet lifesaver on dusty trails.

I was a little worried about the fit, but the flower-shaped design perfectly blocks stray light on my 24-70mm without any vignetting. The bayonet mount is smooth and feels like it’ll last, and it’s saved the front glass from a couple of bumps already.
