Nikon HB-90 Lens Hood

Finally, a hood that feels like it was made for this lens. The petal shape perfectly matches the Z 50mm f/1.8, and it clicks on solidly with zero wobble. Stray light hasn't been an issue since I started using it.

The bayonet mount locks in place with a satisfying click, and I've noticed a real difference in contrast when shooting into afternoon sun with my 50mm lens. It's lightweight enough that I forget it's on, but it does its job blocking stray light every time.

Snaps on securely and immediately cuts the glare I was getting shooting into afternoon light. The bayonet mount feels solid, too—no wobble at all.
