Sony ALC-SH177 Lens Hood

Fits my 55mm lens perfectly and clicks on with a solid, reassuring lock. It's blocked glare on sunny days without adding much bulk, and the bayonet mount feels sturdier than the plastic ones I've used before.

I've been using this on my 55mm f/1.8 and it really cuts down on flare in bright sunlight without adding much bulk. The sculpted design lets me still use the lens cap without any fuss.

The bayonet mount clicks into place with a reassuringly solid feel, and it blocks stray light perfectly without adding noticeable bulk to my kit. My shots have noticeably better contrast in harsh sun now, and that alone was worth the price.
